KALEIDOSCOPE

KALEIIDOSCOPE pieces are c-prints combined with different emulsions of paint and mirror solutions behind Glass. Since the surfaces are highly reflective the Glass works interact with the viewer and environment like a Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscopes operate on the principle of multiple reflections where each reflection creates a unique experience based on where the viewer is standing. Multiple people can look at the same exact thing at the same time and see it either slightly or very differently. Perception creates Reality.

As an artist I am interested to further explore the boundaries of Painting and Photography, abstractions combined with fragments of reality and I also experiment with reflections, mirror elements and illusions so that the viewer questions the so-called reality and experiences a Kaleidoscope of impressions.
