Interested in the process of painting, itself, and its connection to the processes in relationship to my surroundings, I often start with placing multiple, often un-stretched raw canvas on the floor and then start spilling inks onto piles of fabrics, canvas, linen, silks and/or paper. This process allows the paint to bleed through multiple layers of works at once. I also call this method ‘The Recording Of Color’, producing a Landscape with colors similar to a soundscape in music. The works are influencing each other such as single notes create a composition. One dimension transforming into another dimension, the final result of the painting reveals itself through discovery.
