The work of Isolde Kille highlights transitional moments in time. Textiles are a source of exploration in her body of work, in which each or her work is often simultaneously a painting and a sculpture. Existing in a state of functional ambiguity, the work is displayed on the floors, walls, hung as room dividers, and bent into corners as well as functional objects such a lamps. By occupying the space in variation, the painting hybrids present a state of flux.
